Dave
is probably more renowned for his rugby league prowess
in which he enjoyed a distinguished career playing at
the top level for Great Britain and domestically for the
following teams, Doncaster, Castleford, Sheffield, Hull
Kingston Rovers and Hunslet whom he went on to coach to
the 1999 Grand Final before moving over to the Leeds
Rhinos as head of development.
He then finished his
coaching career after a spell as Head Coach at
Warrington Wolves where he became disillusioned with an
unhealthy mixture of politics and sport.He
opted to move up to Cumbria to cater for an area that
was largely neglected in terms of access to mail order
returned and wholesale goods and the early signs are
that there is an ever growing market for this service.
